National Free Wills Network
Scottish Mountain Rescue is a member of the National Free Wills Network. This means that we are able to offer our supporters the opportunity to have their will written free of charge by a local solicitor with Scottish Mountain Rescue paying a discounted rate for the writing of simple wills. Once you have made provision for your loved ones, we hope that you will also consider leaving a gift in your will to Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team SCIO, although there is no obligation to do so.
To use the service, please either complete the online form on Scottish Mountain Rescue’s website Gifts in Wills Information Pack - request (donorfy.com) or contact us by email to: [email protected] with your full name and address.
You will then receive a pack from the National Free Wills Network explaining how the process works, and with a list of your local participating solicitors. You can choose from the list of participating solicitors and then make contact with them to make an appointment within 90 days of receiving your pack. On completion of your will, the solicitor returns the paperwork to the National Free Wills Network and Scottish Mountain Rescue will pay a discounted rate for your simple will.
